The parents/guardians of under 18s must sign a permission form for their child to attend lessons.
For safeguarding reasons, at least one responsible adult must be present on the premises during lessons.
Parents/guardians must inform the tutor of any relevant medical conditions or special needs.
2. Lesson Materials & Intellectual Property
All lesson content, handouts, worksheets, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Karoka.
Clients may use materials for personal study only. Reproduction or redistribution is prohibited without permission.
3. Pricing & Exclusions
All lesson and consultancy tariffs exclude:
Travel costs if lessons take place at a venue of your choice
Registration fees for online certification and access to official portals
Printing of official course materials beyond what is reasonably used for the initial training created by the tutor
Prices are subject to change, with written notice 30 days in advance. Changes do not affect lessons already paid for.
4. Payment
Accepted payment methods:
Cash
Mvola (all transaction fees must be included in payment)
Karoka SARLU / BNI Madagascar (details provided upon contract signing)
Receipts can be provided
5. Cancellation & Postponement
The cancellation/postponement policy will be strictly followed without exception.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
6. Late Arrivals
Lessons start at the scheduled time. If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the original finishing time. Lost time cannot be made up.
7. Behaviour & Respect
Students are expected to behave respectfully during lessons.
Repeated disruptive behaviour may lead to lesson suspension or termination without refund.
8. Online Lessons (if applicable)
Students must have a working device, stable internet, and functional camera/microphone.
Parents must monitor minors during online lessons.
Recording lessons by students is not allowed without explicit permission.
9. Confidentiality & Privacy
Personal information (names, contact details, student work) will be kept strictly confidential.
Photos, recordings, or student work will not be shared publicly without written consent.
10. Force Majeure
The tutor is not liable for disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., political unrest, natural disasters, illness/death in the family, internet outages).
Lessons may be rescheduled in good faith, but no refunds are guaranteed.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice (suggested: 7 days).
Prepaid packages may be partially refundable at the tutor's discretion, depending on notice given.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By signing the tutoring contract or attending lessons, the client/parent agrees to all the above terms and conditions.
